A first-person account of Jim Tucker's experiences with a number of extraordinary children with memories of past lives, Return To Life focuses mostly on American cases, presenting each family's story and describing his investigation. His goal is to determine what happened - what the child has said, how the parents have reacted, whether the child's statements match the life of a particular deceased person, and whether the child could have learned such information through normal means.
Tucker has found cases that provide persuasive evidence that some children do, in fact, possess memories of previous lives. Among others, readers will meet a boy who describes a previous life on a small island. When Tucker takes him to that island, he finds that some details eerily match the
boy's statements and some do not. Another boy points to a photograph from the 1930s and says he used to be one of the men in it. Once the laborious efforts to identify that man are successful, many of the child's numerous memories are found to match the details of his life. Soon after his second birthday, a third boy begins expressing memories of being a World War II pilot who is eventually identified.

Client-Centered Software Development: The CO-FOSS Approach
introduces a method to creating a customized software product for a
single client, either from scratch or by reusing open source
components. The clients are typically non-profit humanitarian,
educational, or public service organizations. This approach has
been used in undergraduate courses where students learn the
principles of software development while implementing a real-world
software product. This book provides instructors, students,
clients, and professional software developers with detailed
guidance for developing a new CO-FOSS product from
conceptualization to completion. Features Provides instructors,
students, clients, and professional software developers with a
roadmap for the development of a new CO-FOSS product from
conceptualization to completion Motivates students with real-world
projects and community service experiences Teaches all elements of
the software process, including requirements gathering, design,
collaboration, coding, testing, client communication, refactoring,
and writing developer and user documentation Uses source code that
can be reused and refitted to suit the needs of future projects,
since each CO-FOSS product is free and open source software
Provides links to a rich variety of resources for instructors and
students to freely use in their own courses that develop new
CO-FOSS products for other non-profits.

This popular examination of research into children's reports of
past-life memories describes a collection of 2,500 cases at the
University of Virginia that investigators have carefully studied
since Dr. Ian Stevenson began the work more than forty years ago.
The children usually begin talking about a past life at the age of
two or three and may talk about a previous family or the way they
died in a previous life. Their statements have often been found to
be accurate for one particular deceased individual, and some
children have recognized members of the previous family. A number
have also had birthmarks or defects that matched wounds on the body
of the deceased person.
"Life Before Life" presents the cases in a straightforward way
and explores the possibility that consciousness may continue after
the brain dies. It is a provocative and fascinating book that can
challenge and ultimately change readers' understandings about life
and death.

Nathan and Sandra Murray moved to their first pastorate in the
rolling hills of North Carolina. Nathan soon realized that there
were things about being a pastor he did not learn in college and
seminary. Thankfully, mentors including some of the gentle folk of
New Hope Church, will help him overcome and become a faithful and
effective shepherd.
This contains a case study for the study of weapons of mass
destruction. It recounts the important events that led to the
ratification of chemical weapons. It uses direct quotes to explain
the events that led up to the ratification.
Since its inception in 1994, the Center for the Study of Weapons of
Mass Destruction (WMD Center) has been at the forefront of research
on the implications of weapons of mass destruction for U.S.
security. Originally focusing on threats to the military, the WMD
Center now also applies its expertise and body of research to the
challenges of homeland security. The center's mandate includes
research, education, and outreach. Research focuses on
understanding the security challenges posed by WMD and on
fashioning effective responses thereto.
The bombing of the Twin Towers in New York on September 11, 2001,

the aftermath of 9/11 arguing that commentators abandoned
complexity, seeking to reduce events to their simplest
signification.

Much has been learned about the proper and judicious use of
fertilizers. Fertilizer application by farmers has grown from an
art to a science. As food producers have strived to increase crop
yields by overcoming nutrient deficiencies the use of fertil izers
has increased dramatically. This has created a large chemical
industry capable of supplying the needed plant food elements. A
more complete understanding of soil chemistry and plant nutrition
has led to greater fertilizer use with improved fertilization
methods and crop cultural practices. Improved fertilizer technology
has led to the production of more efficient forms of fertilizer.
The modem fertilizer industry and with it fertilization practices
began in the humid countries of the world. The use of fertilizers
in arid and semiarid regions was later in development, although
agriculture had its beginning in semiarid and arid regions. The
development offertilizer use is parallel to industrial development
in various areas of the world."
